Old Pictures

Thanks for your many kind comments on my photos! Someone asked if I was depressed.  No, not really; I just have the January Blahs.  Recently, someone my husband used to play in a band with asked if I would scan some pictures, and I finally got around to scanning them - and a bunch of others, tonight.  I am surprised, and relieved, to see how much my photography has improved in the past ten or fifteen years.   
We celebrated our anniversary last month, more than ten years, less than fifteen.  I have had a lot of hairdos since I met him.  One thing I love about him, he always thinks my new hairdo is the best one.  Here's a few from the past, if you are curious: 

Aren't we cute?  You can imagine what heartbreakers our kids are gonna be!

    Hahaha -- you're so funny! You two ARE cute -- and I'll bet those boys are definitely going to be heartbreakers! However, you're not going to be joking about it when they ARE heartbreakers, so get some sleep now LOL!

    Hairdos may change but no matter which one you pick, you are a lovely looking couple.
    Thimbleanna is right- those boys of yours are going to be heartbreakers - better get rested up LOL

modular knitting

On the plus side, modular knitting gives one interesting options for colorwork and color blocking.  Sometimes the dye process can give the yarn its own commentary, like this changing of scales. However, there are often many more ends to weave in.  This one is not too bad, but there's at least four ends on every row - 14 rows.  Still, interesting to try something new! Details on my Ravelry page , if you are interested!!  Have you tried modular knitting?  Thumbs up or down??

Spring Means Baseball!

I've had this idea for a knitting pattern in my head and it's finally come to fruition!  I am still polishing up the pattern, but here's a quick peak:  PS:  There's more than one size and this one is too big for me but it was the only one I had "stitched up."
