Tonight I went to a charity event in which my in-laws danced. Aren't they a happy looking couple? They are pretty fun. I hope they don't mind me sharing a picture, but I just couldn't resist. They danced the cha-cha; all of the other competitors (ladies) danced with instructors and I must say, I think my MIL had the best partner!
Last year, I made some effort (not thoroughly successful) to capture state-of-the-garden pictures every month, including panoramas stitched together on Photoshop, in order to get the whole view of what's happening. So here's a little recap of the garden in 2023! early March April May June August It appears that I missed July, and either didn't take or didn't save this project in September, although we didn't have a killing frost very late into the season - we were still harvesting a few things in October. As much as I loved the lettuce that was growing in the tunnel, and getting an early start on a few things, I'm not a fan of plastic anywhere, especially in my garden, so I am looking at options - cold boxes with old windows, etc. I'm planning to start my 2024 garden this month - pea planting, planning, and seed starting in March! What are you planting?
darling banner!!
ReplyDeleteyour in-laws look like they are having fun.
i made marinara earlier this year and my post was saucy-saucy cha cha and someone told me cha cha meant diarrhea in their house! haha.
well... happy fall.. it's right around the corner.
Oh, I like the pumpkin/gourd display--what a clever idea! And the swags look great.
ReplyDeleteToday's temp will be 86, but the next 10 days will be in the 70's with a couple of 60's, so I think fall is finally coming around. It's just been too hot and muggy to think fall yet.
I love your mantle display! That is great. It has felt like fall to me lately. I also wish I had planted pumpkins. Why did I forget again?
