Water on Leaf

It's wet, it's dry; it snows, it blows, it's warm again.  I took this picture earlier this week and didn't download it right away.  Now that I have, I wish I'd taken the time to really get down close and take a few more, but I do like this picture: 

I have gotten a few things really cleaned up but you know, other stuff piles up so it seems like I haven't accomplished a lot.  I am hoping to paint.  Did I already say that recently?  I took some 'before' pictures in the hopes that I'll have 'after' pictures soon!!

    And what are we painting? Your leaf is beautiful. It would be fun to have a leaf outside and just take pictures of the same leaf in the conditions you described... wet, snow, etc.

    That is a great picture Karen. I did some painting today in the "greenhouse project". There is so much decorating inspiration out there, I always have a hard time making up my mind about color, and usually go with some crazy color like "oatmeal" lol. But as my daughter says it's only paint you can always change it. The preparation is the hardest part!!

    Gorgeous picture! I've lost a little mojo in the photography dept..you are just proving I need to get out there and take pictures of simple things rather than trying to get complicated!

garden panos from 2023

 Last year, I made some effort (not thoroughly successful) to capture state-of-the-garden pictures every month, including panoramas stitched together on Photoshop, in order to get the whole view of what's happening.  So here's a little recap of the garden in 2023! early March April May June August It appears that I missed July, and either didn't take or didn't save this project in September, although we didn't have a killing frost very late into the season - we were still harvesting a few things in October.  As much as I loved the lettuce that was growing in the tunnel, and getting an early start on a few things, I'm not a fan of plastic anywhere, especially in my garden, so I am looking at options - cold boxes with old windows, etc.  I'm planning to start my 2024 garden this month - pea planting, planning, and seed starting in March!  What are you planting?

Thankfulness, 2023 edition
