Monday's Photos

I met up with designer Marly Bird and models Natalie and Kendra, in Boulder last Monday.  Remember this bridge from the photo scavenger hunt?  (Speaking of the psh, I'm still taking votes on A Shadow  if you are so inclined!) A lot of the pieces and pictures I shot are top secret for now, but two of Marly's designs have already been published.  You can find more information about them on her blog .

Your Morning "Awwww"

As many squirrels as we have in our yard, I've never seen a baby one - til yesterday!

my morning so far.

A Shadow

Thank you for all the compliments on my photos and my subjects from the last two posts! March was a crazy month.  I will just spare the details but suffice it to say that I did not get done what I would have liked, including a birthday book, anything St. Patrick's Day, seed starting, sewing, and the March Photo Scavenger Hunt.  I commented on Anna's set , and she replied, encouraging me to do the hunt anyway.  I decided she was right, I should do them.  I am working on both March and April this month.  As we found in February, this has been a fun family activity.  One of the items for March was  a shadow , so all five of us collaborated on this set.  Which do you like best??  Seriously; tell me.  I just can't decide!  A B C This reminds me. If I can go so far as to say my photographs are art, as we all know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and just deciding what you like quali...

Baby on the Way

My mom and I (and a friend) drove down to Oklahoma to see my sister (and the friend's daughter).  It was a really fun trip.  My primary reason for going was to take maternity pictures of my sister.  It's not every day you know an expectant mother who will let you take all sorts of crazy pictures of her!  Despite the fact that it is her pregnancy, my sister was a good sport and took all my directions.  Since my mom was there also, I thought we should get her in a few pictures.  This picture just about shows how sweet a person my mom is.  If you want to see a few more of my sister, there's a set here on my Flickr page.
